• Schedule consultations with as many photographers as you can and pick the one with whom you feel most comfortable--it will show in your photos.
  • Get plenty of sleep before your shoot.
  • Prepare for your shoot like you would for an important audition.
  • Be yourself.  Being in character for a headshot will only limit your range.
  • Let your photographer make the pictures--anytime you wait just for the shutter will make your photo look stiff.
  • Enjoy the shoot. Your energy will move anyone who sees your photo.
  • To choose your enlargements get help from people who know you the business (including your photographer) and choose photos that look like you, show your eyes, and reveal your inner complexity.
